Student reflects on tragic loss of his brother

Dakota Acker, 18, attended Quinlan Ford High School with numerous friends. On Wednesday Feb 4, my brother was riding his bike across FM 751 at about 6 a.m. and was hit by a pickup truck, sending him into the guardrail. State Trooper Kyle Bradford pronounced him dead on the scene.

All of a sudden, a magnitude 2.3 earthquake rattles Dallas, shocking many people with its small shake. It was centered near the former site of Texas Stadium, once home of the Dallas Cowboys.
