“Summoners War” is an app that was released exclusively on Google Play store in December. The game has received good reviews in the little time its been available in store, and those positive reviews are well deserved. The game was created by Com2us, and its involves battling monsters.

The moment before going down the alleyway, junior Savanna Barnard’s heart starts racing. Her fingers start to tingle and her horse is jittery and jumpy. Waiting for the announcer to call her name, it feels like the wait of a lifetime. Her name sounds over the speakers, and it’s “go time.” She leads her horse down the alleyway slowly. When she hits the end, she kicks her horse, Logan, up and heads for the first barrel.

Multiple young kids came to the KHS campus to participate in the Adopt A Kid program we host every year. This program helps young kids who do not that the money to get gifts on Christmas. This took place on Dec. 19 and lasted from 1st period to 3rd period.
