The ag mechanics classes are designing cups as another fundraiser to raise money for the shop or supplies they may need throughout the year. The students are using their new machine called an engraver.

The engraver is an 2.5-foot by 1-foot machine. To work the engraver, a student must first find a design on the computer to transfer to the engraver, then the engraver will do its job of lasering the designs into the object which are cups, keys, etc.

The ag mechanics class learn about machinery, and on how to weld.

“I love to weld things in the shop  and that the engraver is a pretty easy job,” sophomore Larson Willeford  said.
