The new theater room, band hall, and choir room opened on Feb 6. The  auditorium opens in April after spring break, and the new “B Hall” is going be ready at the beginning of next year.

For theater, there will be much more space to practice and rehearse. The students are excited to create shows in the brand new atmosphere, enhancing to the quality of the shows.

Theater teacher Alecia King says there will be bigger dressing rooms “sized like broadway,” and universal makeup mirrors that will separate the boys and girls rooms so they will be able to work together.

“The theater students and I are very appreciative that we are being blessed with such an amazing facility,” King says.

Another new classroom feature is the “black box”, a stage for shows, practice, and the new theater classroom where actors will have will have intimate performances.

The first performance in the new auditorium is “Alice in Wonderland” premiering in April.
