Super Bowl LI is going to be a back and forth game between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons. It’s a battle between the No. 1-rated offense in the Falcons and the No. 1 defense in the Patriots. In past Super Bowls the top-ranked defense usually wins, but this game can be a different story.

The Falcons this postseason have demolished everyone they have played. They have won both their  postseason games by 10 or more points. Atlanta has a dangerous set of wide receivers with Julio Jones and Mohamed Sanu. Jones possibly is the best wide receiver in the NFL and is an amazing route runner and with his catching ability. The Patriots Are going to have trouble with him.

The Falcons also have an amazing set of running backs with Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. Freeman is one of the best running backs in the NFL. With his explosiveness, he is very hard to stop. Coleman is the speedy backup and is very dangerous. He is one of the fastest players in the NFL.

The Patriots have the advantage because of experience. Going into the Super Bowl, the Patriots are favored to win by 3 points. The team’s secondary is led by Logan Ryan, Malcolm Butler, Patrick Chung and Devin McCourty> This group can possibly make things difficult for Jones. The Patriots’ defensive line is also one of the best in the NFL.

The New England offense is one of the top offenses in the NFL. Led by quarterback Tom Brady, the offense is capable to tear apart the Falcons defense. The Patriots don’t only have an aerial threat, but they also have a great ground game with their powerful running back Legarrette Blount.

MY PICK – Overall, this Super Bowl is going to go down as one of the best Super Bowls ever. I think the Falcons will win 33-27.

CHAFFIN’S PICK – Patriots finish off the Falcons in a close one. Brady adds ring No. 5, 31–27.
